Commissioned as the Official Photographer for the Kingdom of Thailand, I photographed their delegation and the unique activity at the annual General Assembly (GA) of the United Nations in New York City. In its 73rd session, the GA is the main deliberative, policymaking and representative organ of the United Nations. All 193 Member States have equal representation: one nation, one vote. Decisions on important questions, such as those on peace and security, admission of new members and budgetary matters, require a two-thirds majority. At the upper echelon of global political forums, the GA presents an event of great magnitude and formality.
